Holiday hours & events

Today (Wednesday) from 4 to midnight.Hi everyone! Just a quick update on our hours.

We are open:

Today (Wednesday) from 4 to midnight.
At 7pm, come see Skip of A/V Geeks present “Bring Me the Head of Jim Henson!”

Join us to explore the brilliant yet skewed head of Jim Henson by watching two of his films from the 1960s – “Time Piece” and the bizarre TV experiment, “The Cube.” Proof that he was more than just a puppeteer. Suggested donation 5 bucks!

that's Jim Henson's head on a plate!

Thursday: regular hours, 4 to midnight.

Friday (Christmas Eve): noon to 10pm. Join us Christmas Eve (time TBA) for an informal cookie-and-beer pairing. We’re still looking for someone to play our Conn  electric organ sometime Friday for a Christmastime sing-along. We’ll give you free beer! Then poke fun at you as you start fumbling the notes! (Seriously, email me at sean at fullsteam dot ag if you’re interested in playing Christmas tunes on Christmas eve…I’d love to make this happen).

CLOSED CHRISTMAS DAY AND THE DAY AFTER CHRISTMAS

We resume normal hours after Christmas, which (for now) means we are closed Monday and Tuesday, reopening Wednesday the 29th. We are likely (not a done deal yet, Skippy) to launch into seven days a week starting in the new year.

Lastly, we are proud to be host to Slow Food Triangle’s “Traditional Southern New Year’s.”  Join us on January 1 from 4 to 7pm for a feast of collards, cornbread, hoppin’ john, hearth-baked local bread, sweet potato pie and more! Vegetarians fed well. The Fullsteam bar will be open for service to paid attendees of the function, and we open to the public at 7pm. Order your tickets to the Slow Food Triangle event here!

We hope to see you before the end of the year. This has been a great year for Fullsteam because of you. Thank YOU for making 2010 the Year of Awesome.
