Fullsteam is seeking top-notch designer/illustrator/artist in a contract role. We have some strong leads, but nothing is set. We’d prefer to work local, but we are opening up the search to artists/illustrators throughout the beautiful South.

We are looking for someone who can build upon our “Southern steampunk” look and who has strong packaging experience. Who gets our analog and digital mindset. Who wants to work collaboratively with us, understanding that the process is iterative. Patience a plus; we’re a dangerous mix of ultra-opinionated and super-busy.

Fig. 1: This is not what we are looking for

Names and leads most welcome. But they’ve got to be top-notch artists, as we’re pretty picky about our look. Intuition plays a big role in this process: we’re going to know it when we see it.

Passion for craft beer is a huge plus, if not essential. Illustration skills a must: we’re looking for an artist or agency with old-school skills, especially pen-and-paper, letterpress, and typography…but who also can translate this work digitally.

We’re 90 percent of the way there. It’s that last 10 percent that will make a huge difference toward our success, and we know we can’t get there on our own. In fact, we don’t want to do it on our own. We’re excited about the prospect of working collaboratively with someone who totally gets our plow-to-pint-steampunk-constructivist-retro-future mentality. And who can take it to Volume 11.

Do you know who might join us in the journey? Send us an email (sean@fullsteam.ag) or leave a message on the Fullsteam hotline: (620) HOGWASH.

Thank you!
