We get a lot of folks peeping in the windows of ATC. If we're not in a meeting or otherwise too busy, we'll often show them around if they're interested.

And sometimes we led pop-up events and previews, but here's one thing we've noticed when doing so: a number of people think this is what the finished Fullsteam is. That they're seeing the finished space. That we're open, but our hours are really limited.

The truth is we haven't yet started the physical renovation, and that the space will look very different when we're done.

So perhaps there's a risk of too many previews and sneak-peeks. A reason why places keep mum, wrapping themselves in silence and newspaper.

The trouble for us is that the Power Plant is a very visible space. Prior to Covid, the doors were unlocked and anyone could (and would) walk in. So we can't really paper it up; plus, that's not really our style.

So for now, we're putting up these signs on the windows. (And reminding you about our monthly newsletter, The Beautiful South.) Peek in the window, read up, and wave to us. We'll probably give you a tour.
