Fullsteam ATC FAQ

Here's a list of the ATC-related questions we get asked a lot.

When are you opening?

We don't have an exact date, and these things always take longer than planned. For now, our ideal target is the start of Bulls baseball next year.

What part of the building will you be in?

We're taking on most of the first floor of the original Power Plant. The stair side (right, if you're facing the building) will hearken back to Fullsteam at Rigsbee with a bar, table seating, and a full menu...plus lots of outdoor seating. It'll be open for lunch, dinner, and late night. We were originally going to call it "Fullsteam All-Day" but we're just calling it Fullsteam.

On the left—under the movie marquee—will be a 100+ person private events space we're calling the "Stoker Club," a tribute to the boiler(s) that generated electricity for all of ATC.

Behind it, a 100-seat theater...

What about the theater?

The theater is staying! We'll incorporate it into Fullsteam programming (screenings, live performances, readings, sports). Because we're not modifying it during construction, it's available now for rental

What's your menu going to look like?

Look for classic American pub food with lots of seasonal, Southern flair. We hope to lean more into pickling and fermentation and, as always, we're going to prioritize local suppliers and growers. Side note: no pizza - that'll be at Boxyard.

Will you brew on-site?

This was a challenge initially. We couldn't figure out a logical place to brew beer in the space. Instead, the 22-tap bar system (from our original Rigsbee location) will feature Fullsteam core and small batch beer, our new cider line (Wyndfall Grove), wine, and non-alcoholic offerings. We'll also have a full bar featuring local and North Carolina spirits.

We brew and craft all of our small-batch beverages at our new Rocky Mount facility an hour east of Durham.

Can I hold my private event at the space?

Private events will be big part of our new location. Fullsteam at ATC will feature a 30-seat private party "den," a 100-seat theater, and the Stoker Club, which will accommodate groups up to 120 people.

So, yes, we'll have a ton of opportunity for truly private parties, big, small, and in-between. That said, we're not yet accepting reservations for anything other than the theater: it's too early and risky. But hopefully by the beginning of the year we'll be ready to book for events for the second half of 2026.

Wait, did you just say I can rent the former Full Frame theater?

You can. As soon as now

We aren't touching the theater during construction, so we're able to offer it to groups and individuals needing a space (an amazing space!) for panels, screenings, all hands meetings, test runs and rehearsals. We are so thrilled to open and rent this space to the community!
