Wyndfall Grove Table Cider
Cider
Wine & Cider
Our new cider brand, Wyndfall Grove, honors our friend, the late paw paw orchardist and evangelist Wynn Dinnsen. It's also a twist on "Windfall," a name suggested to us from our dear friend Diane Flynt of Foggy Ridge Orchards (nee Foggy Ridge Cider).
The apples in this off-dry table cider all come from Foggy Ridge and was fermented and managed by Sage Bird Ciderworks (Harrisonburg, VA). To call it a collaboration gives us too much credit. We're deeply indebted to the contributions of Sue Carter, former GM at Foggy Ridge and Zach Shelton, co-owner of Sage Bird Ciderworks -- without their hard work and patience, we wouldn't have a Wyndfall.
We hope the three ciders that came out of this initial collaboration serve as a launching and learning point for our own ciderworks at Rocky Mount Mills, starting with the apple harvest season of 2026.
For now, we hope you enjoy this dry culinary cider featuring apples from one of the legends and pioneers of American cider, Diane Flynt.
