We brew this bright, refreshing Saison with 100% local grain from each of the three North Carolina malt houses: Epiphany Craft Malt, Riverbend Malt House, and Carolina Malt House. Star, N.C.'s bone dry body is topped with wine-like and floral aromatics and a subtle bubblegum and banana finish from the beer's Belgian yeast strain.
The tiny town of Star is the geographic center of North Carolina. For us, this beer is an expression of the heartland of this state we love.
